Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 22, 2026
This policy explains how Bluehaven Strategic LLC ("Bluehaven", "we", "us"), which operates Bluehaven Gov Bids at https://govbids.bluehavenstrategic.com, collects, uses and shares information. Bluehaven Gov Bids provides a daily email digest of public bid opportunities (from sources such as SAM.gov, Maryland eMMA, Virginia eVA and DC OCP) filtered by trade and region to businesses in Maryland, Washington DC and Northern Virginia.
What we collect
- Form submissions: name, business name, trade, NAICS codes, regions of interest, phone, email, the plan you're interested in, and your message, plus your consent choice and the date/time, page and IP address of the submission.
- Spam protection: our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks browser and device signals to tell people from bots. Cloudflare processes this data under its own privacy policy; Turnstile does not use advertising cookies.
- Billing details: if you become a client, your billing name, business, email and address, and invoice/payment history.
- Technical data: standard server and security logs from our host (Cloudflare), such as IP address, browser type and pages requested. This site does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies.
How we store it
Form submissions are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database and copied to a private Google Sheet (Google Workspace) that only Bluehaven staff can access, so we can follow up. Spam submissions caught by Turnstile or our filters may be discarded.
How we use it
- To reply to your inquiry, prepare quotes, and deliver services you order.
- To send invoices and account notices, and keep business and tax records.
- To protect our forms and services from fraud and abuse, and to meet legal obligations.
If you check the consent box, we may contact you by phone, text or email about your request. You can ask us to stop at any time.
Payments
We bill by Stripe invoice. When you pay, your card or bank details are entered on Stripe's hosted pages and processed by Stripe, Inc. under its privacy policy; we do not see or store full card numbers. We receive confirmation of payment, the amount, and limited card details (such as brand and last four digits).
Email digests and unsubscribing
If you subscribe, we use your email address, trade, NAICS codes and regions to build and send your daily bid digest. Digests may include basic open/click measurement so we can tell whether delivery is working; we do not sell this data. Every digest includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also email us to stop. We honor unsubscribe requests within 10 business days, as required by CAN-SPAM, and stopping emails does not by itself cancel a paid subscription or refund a paid period (see the Terms). We may still send transactional messages about your account or invoices.
Bid information in the digest comes from public government sources. We are not affiliated with any government agency and do not submit bids or share your profile with agencies on your behalf.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with service providers that help us operate (Cloudflare for hosting, security and storage; Google Workspace for email and spreadsheets; Stripe for invoicing and payments; and any other vendors named above), with your direction, or when required by law or to protect our rights. These providers may only use the data to provide services to us.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiries that do not become clients for up to 24 months, and client and billing records for as long as the relationship lasts and then as required for tax and legal purposes (generally up to 7 years).
Your choices and rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, or to opt out of marketing, by emailing us. Depending on where you live (for example, under the Maryland Online Data Privacy Act or Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act, where they apply), you may have additional rights; we will respond within the time the law requires and will not discriminate against you for using them.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards such as encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and limited staff access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
Our services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 13 (or 18). We do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with a new "last updated" date.
